The Public Works, based in Colorado, needed some promotional posters created in a short amount of time. Some of their clients sponsored these posters, which depicted nine different freeskiers from their film parts in Match Stick Productions’ new movie "In Deep." These posters were set to be seen worldwide at each stop of the film’s tour.
With such a quick turnaround time, a style needed to be created to tie all of the posters together as a family, yet allow each rider’s poster to function by itself. The final design was centered around the photography and atmosphere of backcountry skiing and filming. Each poster contained a large and small action shot, as well as a portrait of each rider. Their name and sponsors were laid out on the bottom of each poster, set above an image of freshly tracked snow.
